A rainy Saturday in The Hills

On Saturday The Hills turned on its most perfect weather (misty rain but not too cold) for a meeting of authors at a local foodie haunt where the open fire crackles all day and the service is friendly. Ananda Braxton-Smith (author of Merrow) and Shirley Marr (Fury author) and I (along with a couple of nice fellas and local identity Baba Desi), got together for a yummy brekky and a short tour of the hills before we deposited the Perth visitors onto a Puffing Billy trip to Emerald.
Am sure we bored the fellas to tears with all our author talk, but for me it was the perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday morning.

thanks you KT! It was a perfect day! I was disappointed it rained and I couldn't sit on the sill, but Puffing Billy was puffing it's way to steampunky awesomness
